The new update for iPhone is not working properly. Fix that and this app gets 5 stars.

Get "network error" when I select "Shows" option on my up to date iPhone 5. Works properly on my iPad

But this app still needs work. Live stream frequently cuts out and the app needs to be quit and relaunched to get the audio to return.

The app loses my discover playlist after Ive downloaded and either closed the app or let my phone go to sleep. When I come back to finish listening to a story on the list, its very often gone, and when I hit the "back" button, I get the swirling icon that says, "finding some gems", as if I hit the "refresh" button. These days, Im surprised when a playlist Ive downloaded is still there when I come back to the app. This has been an issue through the last few updates. Would be really great if you resolved it. The discover feature is a great way to get through my daily commute underground.

Love WNYC love the app but still no 6+ optimization?

This app would be amazing if they had an alarm clock function

Constantly have to open and close app to refresh news feed-show episodes listed will be from months ago. Freezes up often.

I love WNYC but hate this app. It crashes constantly and pages/features are slow to load and respond to tapping. Very disappointed these bugs havent been worked out.

I love WNYC, but this app doesnt do the station justice. It fails in the most basic requirement: just stream the content reliably. I find myself just using the NPR app who basically does what it should. But then, I cant get Brian Lehrer and other local specifics.

Like the title implies, the app is unbelievably glitchy, but I honestly could not live without it. I love you, WNYC.

This app offers a great selection to listen to. I love movie date, slate political gabfest, freakonomics, and Brian lehrer, just to name a few. I would use it everyday, except half the time it doesnt like to work. Ill click on one of the pages from my favorites and it will change the header but still display the previous content beneath it. Or it will only show old material. And usually, when I pause and then resume, it wants to start the whole podcast over. Very frustrating and disappointing.

In the latest version they seemed to have worked out their kinks. It buffers fast and has not crashed on either my phone or iPad. I generally stream and have not used discovery that much but its a great feature for long underground subway rides or just to reduce mobile data.

I created some favorites. Now the app is locked up. I cant even get off the screen where I chose favorites. Looks like it would be a good app, if it worked.

The app was fantastic, but it stopped working right - it never keeps the downloaded playlist so I can listen offline. please fix that.

I updated the app and now it wont open at all, Ive restarted my phone Etc... All I get is a red screen. Please fix this I love this app

The last update left me with a red screen I cant get past. How can I undo? Pls fix ASAP!!!

This is the worst, most glitchy app on my iPhone. It is garbage beyond belief. I listen to WNYC on my long commute daily and jumped to download this app when it first came out. Through multiple deletions and reloads of the app, I find it still - 1) consistently crashes in the midst of a program clip 2) does not have any memory of when you left off listening in the middle of a long clip, going back to the start every time you launch it after it crashes or after you start it, say, the next day 3) has no scrolling possible to go to the spot where you left off listening to a clip previously - it goes straight to the end when you try to move it to your approx point by using your finger 4) is downright the worst designed app on the iOS store that I have encountered. As part of my commute is outside the reception zone of the broadcasting radio station, I need an app to listen during my commute. I have now taken to listening to different programs by using their apps where applicable. E.g. Marketplace. They should fire the app designers and start from scratch. If you look on the apps feedback page, you will see similar complaints (and many others!) listed there but the app continues to be miserable. They either dont care or are inept, or both.

Listen to the live stream every morning. Its my main podcast app

Love the station, love the app. So convenient to have all kinds of podcasts available to listen to. Definitely my favorite thing to turn on in the mornings while I get ready for the day.
