When I create a playlist using Discover with the three News labels, the playlist loads every time with no problem. Books is a different issue. At some point during the download process, the app crashes. When I try to reopen it, the app prompts an error reporting message, but will crash again. This does not end until I erase the app and download it anew. This is a shame because I raved about this app when it first featured the Discover feature, and now it cant do one of its advertised features.

Love the discover feature, as well as the ability to "star" favorite shows so they can be found easily without scrolling through a long list. The saved audio makes podcasts obsolete! Sometimes when using this via my phones Internet (versus my home wifi), it stops and starts the audio intermittently. However, this may be more of an issue with the connectivity with my phone. Occasionally crashes.

Im not sure why the developers can get away with such a terrible product or why the sponsors want to be synonymous with failure but I have had this ap and tried to use it nearly every day for 2 years and it fails 50% of the time! I love Wnyc so keep trying like a fool hoping that a new phone(6) or update will fix it to no avail. Please get your act together JLGreene and WNYC!

Previous version started to crash today. Stupidly, I upgraded. Now it doesnt even stay on the screen to send report about malfunctioning! Fire the team working on this app....

Discover feature is great--however much radio you want when you want it. I havent had any of the trouble other people are complaining about on this version. Also great to be able to listen in whenever.

Why does my saved audio keep disappearing? Sometimes during playback it just starts over--how come? And when I try to use Discover it just crashes. Please help! Ive really loved this app in the past!

I agree with the reviewer who said the app team should be fired. Its time for people to write directly to Laura Walker to not just demand a working app -- Ill gladly accept one without bells and whistles -- but to threaten pulling their membership if it isnt fixed. Theres no excuse for code this shoddy.

Love the discover feature. Hate that I have to delete and reinstall the app every time I want to us any feature in the app. Frustrating!

Continues to crash after updated AND deleting and installing twice. Turning off phone... Etc. iPhone 6 latest version - all OS X updates

The Discover feature crashes the app every time. this feature is so NOT ready for prime time. Im not sure why the developer rolled it out to production but now they need to fix it please! Its a great idea. I love WNYC. Ive been using the NPR app to stream it for years. I want to use products developed by WNYC so please get this app up to speed.

Love the app in theory, especially the Discover feature. But I have been unable to use it for the past two weeks, because it crashes immediately upon opening on my iPhone five.

When it works its great. I love the Discover feature. But it crashes a lot with iPhone 6. Im constantly deleting and reinstalling. It will work for a few days and then crash again.

Im a new convert to NPR and WNYC especially. Im very happy now that this update has fixed many of the issues I was having previously excellent app now.

The critical update I took today deleted my favorites. Other than that the content is great. At times though it seems that for some of the shows updated content is somewhat inconsistent. I dont have any performance issues with the app.

I downloaded the crucial download and while the layout seems improved, it lags a bit when scrolling through the shows. Besides that, Im a fan of the content from WNYC.

App looks good and is easy to use. Great content too. But it keeps cutting out every time I listen and I have to manually restart. Im listening via wifi and its not a loss of signal because other streaming apps dont have this problem.

Fabulous content ! Cant be beat !? Easy to use app

I am an avid listener of many WNYC shows and loved be able to easily find and download content on the app. Unfortunately, the app is full of bugs, runs slowly, crashes frequently, and ended up being unusable. Not worth the time or frustration.

Definitely recommend it to those that listen to podcasts

I thought I was the only person experiencing these crashes but the reviews say differently. WNYC is a great station but a real NPR fan should go with the NPR app instead.
