Seems to crash less and stream more reliably

So sad- I cant open this App since its last update. Brian Lehrer- I miss you!

In the morning, I listen to the news and WNYC decides to push in ads in mid-sentence of a speaker- multiple times. Im ready to delete this but hopefully there will be a fix. Ill take a pledge drive any day to this.

Please please please fix this, my otherwise most-used app. It seems to reset/go back 20 seconds every 5 minutes or so, at least when the app is first opened.

Worked perfectly before iOS10. Now, it streams for a few minutes and then "rewinds" a few seconds and then resets.

Out of the blue today streaming no longer works - not live, not shows, nothing. No updates have occurred since yesterday. Clicking "play" changes the icon as usual but no sound is forthcoming. Please fix

Replays section of stores and then catches up and you miss parts of the story. Happens on both the news and programs.

I had to vice it at least two stars because I like WNYC so much - I am a sustaining member. I couldnt give it more than two because its such a hassle trying to get it to recognizing Bluetooth. Sometime even closing the app and restarting - and listening to the sponsorship message again is too darn aggravating. Last point: please, please check before you read me that sponsorship message to see if Ive heard it three time in the last four minutes. The constant religion when I drive into a new cell does NOT make me well disposed to your sponsors.

Constantly have to open and close app to refresh news feed-show episodes listed wont be the most recent. End up having to delete and reinstall but eventually happens again

The update is miles ahead of the last version, but the programs are "skipping" like a record. It will jump Back up to 30 Seconds and repeat when Im listening to it "live"

Either rewinds and replays/ repeats phrases every few minutes or interrupts with a commercial for HSS or Tech Serv at three minute intervals.

Randomly pauses, crashes, and skips forward and backwards. It makes for a very frustrating morning listen. This is the primary way I listen to WNYC. I hope they fix these issues or Ill probably cancel my membership.

I love WNYC but I find the app to be unreliable. It will work fine for a while then it will start crashing or not playing at all, even after updated. Ive started to listen to programming through the individual shows apps and podcasts. I find myself using WNYC app less and less which is unfortunate, because there is a lot of content that gets missed.

I love this app, but it recently started pausing intermittently.

I am a New Yorker, currently living elsewhere. I listen to this app everyday, and feel very connected to my native city, and the world. Bravo!

This is a terrific app for streaming WNYC live and for looking at their various materials. The only thing it could use is better buffering support so that when you leave somewhere with a wifi connection, you dont lose it once youre on data. Otherwise, fantastic!

Until I updated, I used the app on iPod (newish iPod, bought 10 months ago).

They claim to have fixed various bugs, but I will never know as the app will now quit right at start-up screen. I rebooted my iPhone 5S to no avail. DOA. This is a wonderful concept (particularly like the Discover feature) that has been very buggy since its inception. Time to call in a new development team?
